Why Famille?

Famille is french for family. Dr.Goh used to live on Rue Ste Famille in Montreal, a bilingual city in Quebec, Canada. He grew up in a multigenerational family and has a special interest in family dynamics. We believe in providing care good enough for our families.

Psychiatrist vs Psychologist?

Psychiatrists are specialist medical doctors trained in the art of human behavior. They are experts well versed in in diagnosing  and treating mental health disorders (including psychotherapy and prescription of medicine if necessary). Psychologists are expert clinicians in human behavior. Their forte lies in various forms of psychotherapy and psychometric testing (e.g. IQ test).

What are the common clinical conditions treated by our psychiatrist?

Common psychiatric conditions treated in our clinic include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD), Trauma and Stress Disorders, Insomnia, Somatic Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Insomnia,  Grief, Dementia, and Psychotic Spectrum Disorders (e.g. Schizophrenia, delusional disorders).

Can I be seen for medico-legal reasons?

We do provide service for Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), and Mental Capacity Assessment (MCA) for Deputyship. For assessment and report for legal purposes, do provide our clinic with more details (cases are accepted on case by case basis).

How do I get an appointment?

Our clinic is accepting new patients. You are invited to call us at 66123388 or 86686638. You can also send us an email, or WhatsApp message to request for an appointment. We will reply any email or messages during our office hours. 

What should I do before coming for my first appointment?

Please bring along any relevant documents (e.g. referral letter, discharge letter, memos, IQ test report). It may be helpful to write down any questions that you may have for the consult. If you are taking any medication, do bring a list or the medications along. Any minor should be accompanied by parents/guardian for the appointment.
