Our Doctor

Dr. Goh Kah Hong, Clarence M.D.

Senior Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr. Goh is an experienced psychiatrist taking care of children and adults. He graduated from University of Calgary with Doctor of Medicine. He is  double board certified in General Psychiatry as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (ABPN). He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (FAM) in Singapore. 

Prior to founding Famille Psychiatry Associates, Dr. Goh was the Head of Psychological Medicine Department in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He was the Director of THRIVE ASCAT (Community Psychiatry) program, and Chair of the PALS (Peer Support Program). He was Adjunct Assistant Professor at NUS YLL Medical School, Senior Lecturer at NTU LKC Medical School, and Faculty of the NHG Psychiatry Residency Program. He remains actively involved in education. He was also a visiting consultant at Child and Adolescent Mental Wellness Service (CAMWS) at KK Children’s and Women’s Hospital. 

Before coming to Singapore, Dr. Goh was working at New York University (NYU) as an Attending Psychiatrist. He worked in the specialized Asian Bicultural Clinic (ABC), plus the Child and Adolescent program at the Gouverneur Hospital, New York City Health and Hospital Corporation (NYC HHC). He also worked as an Attending Psychiatrist at the Hamilton Madison House and Charles B Wang Community Health Center. 

Dr. Goh takes a special interest in Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Positive Psychology, Family/Systemic therapy, and Cultural Psychiatry. Dr. Goh was granted the Ministry of Health (MOH) HMDP award for further training in family therapy at Calgary Family Therapy Centre in Canada. He has contributed opinion pieces in The Straits Times, Channel News Asia, The Business Times and  Today Online. Dr. Goh is multilingual; he is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Malay.
